The Black Coral is an Indian Scientific non-profit team organization which is attempting to spread awareness about the importance of the ocean and also to promote the oceanographic studies.

Siddhant
Captain GEOPHYSICAL OCEANOGRPAHER

Siddhant is the Founder, Captain and Chief Educator at THE BLACK CORAL. The Black Coral is a futuristic dream of Siddhant with the vision of bringing the entire Indian Sub-continent together to collectively work for Ocean Integration and Nature Conservation and create an environment-loving atmosphere. The Black Coral actually started on May 25th, 2020 and the first issue of the monthly Magazine, SAMUDRAM (prev. The Black Journal) was released on June 1st, 2020.

Siddhant has a Master's Degree in Geophysical Oceanography and is now pursuing a doctorate in Blue Carbon Dynamics.

Janhavi has completed her Master’s in Marine Science from Goa University and now is working as a Paleoclimate Research Fellow.
